Artist Statement

                    Although I like looking at artworks, I also love creating art. First of all, I feel like art is a good way to express myself. Words are not the only way to express yourself. In addition, I feel ecstatic when I finish an artwork since I feel that I completed my work. Finally, I think that art is great and I feel like the world wouldn't be what it is today without art. To sum up, I love doing art,


                   A lot of people just stick to the same technique or just focus on one their whole life. To start, I like to vary my work and do different techniques. Additionally, the way I select materials, techniques and themes are about how I feel while doing a certain piece of artwork. My opinion is that you can express yourself by using different techniques for each artwork. In conclusion, these are how I make decisions in the course of my work.

                  To begin, my current work was drawing a hand scape and interacting it with the environment. I did this piece of work at my current advanced art class. First of all, I started taking up art classes since I was 3 years old. Every Summer, I remembered that I would take art classes,  even at my school. Some of my works were exhibited in the Philippines, where I grew up, and I also won awards for my work. Also, here in Colorado, my art was exhibited in the Citadel Mall. All in all, I am hoping to make my artworks better, and I'm also attempting on expanding my ideas because art is a big topic to explore on.
